Today I'm excited to introduce a new art project that touches on a theme that I'm really fond about: Travel.

flymeta is a limited collection of boarding passes NFTs.

While other hyped NFT projects now often shout about their lofty roadmaps and goals, flymeta is a refreshing newcomer to the scene.

It aims to be an art project that tells a good story.

flymeta's origin story

flymeta came about when the founder Gabriel flew to visit his brother whom he haven’t seen for 5 years.

"I was holding my boarding pass as I said goodbye and suddenly I felt like it could speak. It represented moments in time, it held stories."

The vision behind flymeta

flymeta's vision is clear: It seeks to create something that has a meaning.

As a project focused on storytelling and art, it will trigger memories from the past and creating projections into the future of destinations we have always dreamt of.

The man behind flymeta

"I’ve always worked in the creative industry and been more focused on the arts and culture the past few years.

At 17 years old I won a script competition where I got the chance to direct my first short film in 3D, right after that I dropped out of university because of financial reasons.

I then invested in a camera instead, started filming, learning and growing."

What to expect post launch

Minters can expect a boarding pass that is unique to each destination, secret traits and stories to uncover as the project evolves.

Of course, you will also have yourself a new profile banner.

As this is an art project first and foremost, there won’t be a roadmap.

But Gabriel leaves us with a sneak peek: “Time is change, transformation, evolution”

There will be a first batch of 100 boarding passes.

There will be a private-sale exclusive to discord members. The remaining of the passes will be scheduled for the public on April 9th, 2022.
